Description
Soldier Boy is a 12-year-old Hanoverian stallion who joined us following the closure of Astrid Hellgren’s Valhalla Dressage. While he was a highly successful competitor years ago, he’s recently been living the "good life", arriving at Crown Warmbloods a bit soft and definitely out of shape. However, beneath that slightly out-of-condition exterior lies a horse with massive potential and the talent to Grand Prix dressage. We are currently putting him through a strict "bootcamp" to regain his top-level fitness and muscle. Soldier Boy himself seems quite convinced he’s still the king of the ring, carrying himself with a noble and proud attitude, even if he gets winded a bit faster than he used to! He is an intelligent and hardworking partner once he gets into the zone, and we are excited to polish this diamond back to his former brilliance. We have no doubt he’ll be commanding the arena again soon.
